Postpartum hit me with so many “why did no one tell me this?!” moments.
When I was expecting my first baby, I thought I was prepared. I did a lot of Googling and Pinteresting and took the free childbirth and breastfeeding classes through the hospital. Still, when postpartum came I was still left with a lot of "why did no one tell me this?!" moments.
The first few weeks were a wild ride between breastfeeding challenges, newborn jaundice, reflux, postpartum recovery, and emotional ups and downs.
Things did get easier, or more “normal” over time, but postpartum was nothing like I had envisioned.
There's so much I wished I would have known and prepared for before my baby was born.
A few months later, Mom Mode was created.
