Baby Prep
These past two weeks I have been checking off the last few things on my to-do list from the Baby Prep Toolkit, including installing the car seat, sanitizing baby bottles, and setting up the sound machine, Owlet dream sock, and baby monitor. I also finished packing my hospital bag this week, along with packing a bag for Ada and also making sure Brice has a bag packed. We are ready for you anytime, baby!
I got the baby bath area ready, getting out the non-sip baby bath seat and the blooming bath lotus. If you’re not sure what this lotus thing is, it’s essentially a soft pillow that sits on top of the plastic baby bath seat and keeps baby from slipping. We used this well through the newborn stage - it made me so much more comfortable with bath time! It’s one of my top 7 must haves for a baby registry. Find out the other 6 items here.
I also made sure we are stocked up on Tubby Todd. I actually still use all of these products with Ada who is almost 2 but I particularly like them for babies because they are clean and super gently on baby’s skin. If you’re looking for products to get started with I highly recommend starting with the Baby Bundle, which includes their hair + body wash, body lotion, diaper cream, and all over ointment. In addition, we use Tubby Todd’s bubble bath, mineral sunscreen and chest rub.
